Wizard World Chicago 2012
Wizard World Chicago happened this past weekend, and I headed out on Saturday and Sunday to check it out and soak in some geek time.

SDCC 2012 Sketch Cards
My good friend was working SDCC as a volunteer this year. Because she’s unbelievably cool, she agreed to see about getting some Tintin cards for me.
SDCC was at one point the ”once in my life I need to go ” con for me. Not any more. The comics seem to have been marginalized by the Hollywood stuff, and it also seems ridiculously oversold. So I’ll probably never make...

Tiny Tintins...
Recently, with the encouragement of my wife, I’ve been reconnecting with my geek past. As I’ve done so, I’ve noticed a couple of things. First, I have almost completely lost the level of acquisitiveness that used to drive so much of my collecting. I just don’t feel the need to own 95% of what I used to think would be awesome to have to put on a shelf or hang on a wall....
